Pizzeria Lola is chef Ann Kim's first restaurant, born out of necessity. She felt something was missing in the Minnesota pizza landscape and, instead of complaining about it, decided to create what she thought was needed. The vision was simple: open a fun neighborhood restaurant (named after her dog) within walking distance of her own home, dedicated to making some of the best wood-fired pizza in America. Built on a dream, Pizzeria Lola is the original spark that inspired all the future Vestalia family restaurants.
Pizzeria Lola is family-friendly and features something for everyone, from classics like the My Sha-Roni and Margherita to inventive signature pies including the Korean BBQ topped with marinated beef short ribs and the Lady Zaza with house-made kimchi and Korean sausage. Now in its eighth year, Pizzeria Lola continues to top local and national best-of lists and remains a staple of the Southwest Minneapolis dining scene, and an anchor for the Armatage neighborhood.

I loved Pizzeria Lola from start to finish. The menu is intriguing and fun, and the food is delicious across the board. That's the main appeal, but it helps that the place is also lively and fun with great service. - USA Today

Hello Pizza's history began from the shabby couch of Ann's old New York college apartment, where like for so many college students on the go, sustenance came in the form of a daily cheese slice. Her vision of a delivery, walk-in, or takeout pizza emporium includes signature pizzas and familiar classics created with the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. Our take on fast food means great food.

Rustic North Dakota cabin meets quirky cocktail lounge - Young Joni's back bar is the perfect place to enjoy an expertly crafted cocktail with friends. The sexy, cozy space delights with its chill vibe, warm service, and cool soundtrack playing on a refurbished reel-to-reel tape deck. The back bar's fresh and fun approach to cocktails shines through in the menu, which is reinvented from top to bottom twice a year. Each wildly creative menu features signature cocktails built around a theme such as the Back Bar Gazette Classifieds, YJ High Yearbook, and A Field Guide to Birds.
The back bar is sublime. Look for a red light in the alley around back, where you'll find reel-to-reel music, sumptuous sofas, and vintage touches galore. As the bartender put it, “It’s not any basement bar. It’s Grandma’s basement where your cool uncle lives."
